Dualities of the Heart is a collection of poetry, reflections, and inner guidance that was written in 2023 during a time of deep personal transformation that lasted many years. These writings center around themes of trauma, love, grief, self-identity, healing, and embodiment, and are filtered through a lens of feminine esoteric wisdom. They are intentionally left in the order they were written as a representation of the spiraling, cycling, seasonal nature of life, love, and transformation, which are often messy and not experienced in neat categories or structures.

The Challenge of Sovereignty
The journey of transformation and sovereign accountable creation is a path not traveled by many because of what it requires US to individually choose and BEcome in the process.
Accountability in a Shifting World
“Naming the evil” is not just about a person or thing, or a gathering together in herd mentality to identify another common enemy.
Healing is One Part of Transformation
We can often become stuck in looking for what is “wrong”, picking at wounds that are beginning to repair themselves, and unintentionally making pain our new familiar and comfortable home.
Learning to Re-trust the Self
When we meet ourselves with honesty, compassion is necessary, alongside a gentle mother’s sight that sees clearly that choices we have made may have been harmful, but we were also still learning.
Life Is Neutral
Creation does not manipulate and punish to “teach” lessons, only humans do that.
Some who experience great tragedies in life CHOOSE to create meaning out of their experiences by becoming guides for others, and some become replicas of that which harmed them.
Wellbeing Requires Sovereign Self-Listening
We are self-creating illness in our society; it is NOT natural.
Anything that is not innate and biologically driven does indeed have a root cause.
The Difference Between Expectations and Standards
Understanding the difference between expectations and standards is important.
Expectations rise from a hidden foundation of control, and are often subjectively motivated by a lens of past experience.
Balanced Seeing
How accurately you perceive your life and reality is directed by your belief.
The truth of your circumstances is a consequence of what you have been taught is true.
Self-Cultivated Safety
As a person who has experienced immense traumas and challenges in my life, I’ve had to learn to be much more intentional about where my focus and heart energy goes.
We CAN choose
We often go through life conditioned towards a negativity bias, gravitating towards placing our time, energy, and attention on problems; most of which we really have no control over.
Mirroring in Relationships
In every shadowed aspect of relationship, there exists an opportunity for clarity.
Land of the Living
Children understand the deep wisdom of freedom and presence, and the knowing that play requires no outside approval.
Internal Rebellion
Our true north calls to us to redirect our time, energy, resources, and focus to that which inspires, motivates, and drives us towards what we love and desire.
Nothing is so Serious
Nothing is as serious as we make it, and I laugh at my own grandiose thinking; a ridiculous pattern that creates towers out of old rubble that has no value.
A Bit About Stefanie
So much of what I have learned has come from my soul deep connection with Nature, Earth wisdom, the intricate cycles and seasons of our lives, and the beauty that is to be found in both the darkness and light in all of those. It’s why I do the work I do!
