Aloneness Does Not Have to Be Lonely
Not all will go with you, and they are not meant to.
There are many crossroads on our journey of life; deciding moments when we must choose what will go with us and what we must leave behind.
There is beauty and sadness in those moments as we realize that there are choice-points when we must walk alone for a time.
Some chapters require us to travel much lighter, allowing the burdens to drop away behind us, and we must place our focus on the small steps in front of us.
Our aloneness does not have to be lonely. We have friends and allies all around us.
The ruby-throated hummingbird reminding us to allow our passions to speak for themselves.
The buzzing mosquito irritating us enough to remember not to allow others to steal our energy and joy.
The filtering light on leaves reminding us of the ever-changing shades of life experience.
The thorny vine reminding us to not become entangled in things that harm our Soul.
The constantly moving ant reminding us that community is always available, and we have a special part to play in the whole.
Wisdom is always available; we just have to be still enough to listen for the many voices of truth.
And so it is.
