Feminine Mentorship

As we age and mature, there are transition points that call us to move from student to teacher.

This doesn’t mean that we stop learning, but we are asked to share the wisdom and experience that will help support those who will come after us.

I did not have the honor of growing up around female elders, and I sought mentorship in books and the words I read of other women’s wisdom, which I integrated into my own journey.

We are a world that is largely void of feminine spiritual and life teachings, and it is now up to us to place ourselves more fully in the world and allow our voices and our truths to be heard and shared.

We need each other, we need other women, and we need spaces where feminine community can be shared.

Our young women are screaming for loving guidance, and our elder women are crying for spaces where their life experience will be loved and honored.

To heal the Earth, we must create healing in ourselves and open our hearts to community with each other.

It’s not optional, it’s who we are created to BE.

We are all much better individually when we are connected in community and solidarity.

Our hyper-independent societal beliefs are trauma narratives that have seeded ongoing internal weeds that keep us from growing the interconnectedness that our hearts long for.

We are afraid to show ourselves fully to others for fear that we will be rejected, which keeps us stuck in perpetual loneliness and isolation.

We often lack the clear sight or awareness of our conditioned beliefs about perfection and how they keep us in cycles of trying to control how others perceive us, which results in unhappiness and inauthentic BEing.

Every choice does indeed have a consequence, and our inability to be truly vulnerable about who we are and what we desire keeps us bound to situations and people that are unwilling or unable to unconditionally love us or see us at all.

Stepping fully into our lives in wholeness, acknowledging our dark and light, and all that we ARE is freedom, and it liberates us from having to pretend that we are something that we deeply know we are not.

Self-honesty and transparency allow us to drop the heavy burdens of perfection that we often carried our entire life.

It transforms everything around us, as the things that do not fully resonate begin to fall away, like leaves that are no longer needed on an Autumn tree.

It’s meant to be so, as Nature knows well.
