Wellbeing Requires Sovereign Self-Listening

As I sit in my garden observing wildlife and plants, and feeling the wind skim across my skin, I’m reminded of how far modern society has navigated us away from our own nature.

Everything is coming back to life in the natural season of Spring.

Creation is nudging everything into brilliant fertility and potential, and the natural intelligence of all living things simply embraces what IS.

The diversity is magnificent, with each thing having unique qualities and ways of BEing that are perfectly designed.

Each bird has its own sound and song; some are quick and seem almost distracted, while others are slow moving and seem much more grounded.

If birds were human, I’m sure we would find a way to pathologize them, create a standardized test to assign a psychological label, and capitalize on their “wrongness” that decidedly does not fit a “norm” that has no value to their Creatrix.

Nothing in Nature is a walking trauma narrative of problems that need to be fixed or hyper-focused on.

That is human conditioning.

All life forms inherently know what they ARE, and they know how to heal without any great force.

When that capacity is no longer available, they simply return to the Earth and are energetically and physically recycled.

Nature’s seasons and cycles are simplistic in their concepts, but often complex in our ability to understand them or not try to over-complicate, over-analyze, and over-explain them.

Our physical bodies are regenerating and healing in every moment without our awareness, and they are simultaneously dying and being reborn in many ways.

The more that we love, cherish, care for, understand, and give our bodies what they need, the more the NATURAL process is supported.

Our spiritual health, mental health, and emotional health are no different.

We are self-creating illness in our society; it is NOT natural.

Anything that is not innate and biologically driven does indeed have a root cause.

If a seed germinates and starts out as a healthy seedling and then becomes sick and diseased, it is receiving or not receiving something that is CAUSING the SYMPTOMS we label and define as being “unwell”.

The symptoms are not the issue, they are indicators and wise messengers of what needs to be added, modified, or removed.

If that message is noticed, listened to, and addressed, the plant will slowly return to its natural potential, which is always full health.

We have in so many ways lost the ability to hear our own wisdom and are flooded by outside information, opinions, and definitions of what is “normal” or not.

I wonder how often we are really asking the deeper “whys” of whether these things are important or not and if they may be serving as another distraction or avoidance mechanism that allows us to not look at or listen to where actual sustainable change is necessary or needed, and what is ACTUALLY required in that acknowledgement.

I have often found a self-challenge in focusing on things outside of my control, rather than the self-honest orientation towards active empowered choice.

Perhaps empowered choice and sovereign self-listening is what really needs to be embodied to BE well.
