Dualities of the Heart is a collection of poetry, reflections, and inner guidance that was written in 2023 during a time of deep personal transformation that lasted many years. These writings center around themes of trauma, love, grief, self-identity, healing, and embodiment, and are filtered through a lens of feminine esoteric wisdom. They are intentionally left in the order they were written as a representation of the spiraling, cycling, seasonal nature of life, love, and transformation, which are often messy and not experienced in neat categories or structures.

Change is Coming, and it is Good
The world is shifting, and we are required to come into harmony with the unknown tides of revolution and intentionally crafted integrity. The old ways will not do anymore. Our ambitious and individualistic striving has been at odds with natural order for far too long. Change is coming, and it is good. It is the rise of the ancient knowing of the feminine collective that cultivates collective well-being with an understanding that there is enough abundance for ALL.

A soul silently witnessing herself give birth to Magic; something mystical, fashioned from dark ash and ancient marrow.

A magnetic pull to enter the enchanted forest, both dark and inspiring, a topsy-turvy wonderland of opposites beckoning integration.

I honor you by stacking bricks of self-worth, dignity, and respect on the architecture of my life. This is MY design; for you, for me, for SHE.
There is Light and Shadow in All Cycles of Life
The beauty of a rose includes both the petals and the thorns. There is light and shadow in all things, in every person, in every situation, and in every cycle of life. Mother Nature teaches us this lesson if we can listen.

You are a magical misfit, wings of fire throwing shards of too small cages as perfect tinder. Burn baby, burn!
Laugh as your wings unfold, setting your heart on fire. Small beliefs and blood-stained bandages rise as black smoke; the perfect backdrop for your emerald heart.

Vibrant shades reminding me of mystics and magic.

I am the abundance of a thousand slow-moving rivers, gracefully meandering back to the creation of ALL, nourishing everything in their path.
The BEing and BEcoming of Transformation
What a beautiful tapestry of glittering diamonds and coal black dust; the artist and also the art. A perfect canvas of intention and surrender to the unknown Mystery.
This is Rebirth
Pyromancy engulfed her as she danced around the open flame, chanting ancient wisdom long forgotten, as she threw her wounded heart into the flame.
Love and Magic
My mission is love. It always has been; a beautiful gift buried under layers of pain and insecurity. Love is not butterscotch and candy heart feelings. Love is bold and deep, like hot lava running smoothly over anything that stands in its way.

So much of what I have learned has come from my soul deep connection with Nature, Earth wisdom, the intricate cycles and seasons of our lives, and the beauty that is to be found in both the darkness and light in all of those. It’s why I do the work I do!
