Dualities of the Heart is a collection of poetry, reflections, and inner guidance that was written in 2023 during a time of deep personal transformation that lasted many years. These writings center around themes of trauma, love, grief, self-identity, healing, and embodiment, and are filtered through a lens of feminine esoteric wisdom. They are intentionally left in the order they were written as a representation of the spiraling, cycling, seasonal nature of life, love, and transformation, which are often messy and not experienced in neat categories or structures.

Curious Unfolding of Soul Wisdom
So much love and beauty we miss by trying so hard. Slow and steady wins the race, Turtle medicine teaching me to be at home in my own skin.
Discernment is Gifted Through Experience
Self-betrayal reveals itself through my own need to be needed.
I’m “the fixer” after all, the shadow side of empathy.
Compassion transformed to a slow-stirring cauldron of manipulation and attachment to form.
My desire for things to be a certain way, crafting a smoky mirror that distorts perception.
My cup is empty. I’ve given everything away. No one took it from me.
A necessary emptiness where the only option is to see my own illusions.
I AM Feline in Human Form
I look into the world with Panther’s green-eyed gleaming stare.
If you prefer Magic, come frolic with me. Just be respectful of my sharp-clawed warning. It is not for show.
To Fear the Dark is to Fear the Sacred Feminine
To live only in “love and light” is the essence of illusion, a betrayal of the necessity of divine darkness, and also the global rejection of the sacred feminine.
You Owe No One an Explanation
When did you stop believing you were magic?
Threats of hellfire and brimstone held shame knowingly in their hands. This “hell” was created by the shame handed down to you, convincing you that you needed to be saved.
“Do this. Don’t do that. Your body is sin’s sanctuary. Keep yourself pure or you’re a whore. Don’t bother asking for help, no one will listen anyway.”
These lies created the prison of someone else’s making, now open the door.
I Carry the Sword of Truth
I bandage the wounds of a war-torn heart, offering gratitude that I am battletested and have been forged by the fires of transformation.
A Bit About Stefanie
So much of what I have learned has come from my soul deep connection with Nature, Earth wisdom, the intricate cycles and seasons of our lives, and the beauty that is to be found in both the darkness and light in all of those. It’s why I do the work I do!
