Healing is One Part of Transformation

Healing is part of a cyclic and seasonal process; it is not meant to be the totality of our journey.

It is intermingled within the organic processes of initiating change, tending to wounds, releasing what does not support wellbeing, and stabilizing and integrating through LIVING.

Healing is a natural outcome to a process that we are designed to be able to flow through and is a part of human cycles that will repeat many times in our lived experience.

There are parts of that process that are quite difficult and parts that are very beautiful, but the path is WHOLE.

We can often become stuck in looking for what is “wrong”, picking at wounds that are beginning to repair themselves, and unintentionally making pain our new familiar and comfortable home.

We’re not meant to stay there forever, anymore than the moon stays waning or Winter refuses to surrender to Spring.

Chronic inner suffering can become addictive in the same way a codependent abusive relationship can, and often those two things dangerously hold hands together.

In my life, I’ve often found myself immersed in those murky waters, somehow believing that part of my purpose was to be a resilient vessel for caretaking pain, but the truth I found through much difficulty is that I was instead designed to be a conduit for transmutation.

I was never meant to HOLD any of it.

That illumination lit my path for de-conditioning and re-conditioning myself to embody self-worth.

Self-sacrifice is nothing more than a smirking devil, veiling himself as courage.
