Accountability in a Shifting World
Patience and persistence are required to EMBODY prosperity.
We cannot allow the world to lull us into ambivalence and complacency, as that is ultimately the goal of every structure that relies on our preoccupation with unnecessary drama to keep us dependent on fear-based beliefs and speech that DO nothing to create a better experience for ourselves and others.
As our world shifts, we are being asked to question if the outmoded ways of being are shifting themselves into new faces, forms, and labels, while still standing on foundations of toxic power and control.
“Naming the evil” is not just about a person or thing, or a gathering together in herd mentality to identify another common enemy.
It begins with US and the willingness to look honestly at that within ourselves that demands that we consistently feed fear and anger, and that we speak out without ever DOING the deeply challenging inner work of embodying the opposite of what we believe we are fighting against.
We can be pissed at, shout at, and try to pull up the weeds in the world’s garden, and if that’s all that’s done, we’ll be left with empty barren ground because the concept of accountable creation has not been understood.
If I focus on MY garden, tend to MY weeds, plant MY seeds, nourish what I intend to grow, and share my harvest with others, I have done MY part in the WHOLE.
If I am consistently focused on my neighbor’s garden and am trying to micromanage their activities, MY entire life will become overgrown and unmanageable, while I’m busy parroting the message that it’s my neighbor’s fault.
It is individually very challenging to take an honest self-inventory of what we are investing our time, focus, and energy in, and if there is ACTUALLY a positive return on that investment.
I personally do not like that process very much, but I know I must return to it often because I understand that as humans, we are very susceptible to external conditioning and when we follow that conditioning, it will not lead us to anything prosperous, sustainable, or loving in our own lives or what we extend into the world.
