Land of the Living
When we live in the land of the LIVING, freedom and infinite choice reign.
It is only when we step into the world of the walking dead that our eyes glaze over with lackluster dullness, our vision becomes focused on obligations and “must-do’s”, and we lose our capacity to feel alive and vibrant.
We are taught to be that way because it serves a purpose that is not our own.
If we are not obligated to live by someone else’s time clock, we would call our power back to ourselves.
We would wake up with shining curiosity and a heart that is open and waiting to be filled, instead of one that is empty and depleted from all of the toxicity of our world.
If we fully lived in the playground of life, we would feel no desire to fill our day or bodies with things that numb and remove us from our reality.
Addictions come in many forms, and are a disease of adulthood.
Children understand the deep wisdom of freedom and presence, and the knowing that play requires no outside approval.
Perhaps we have been doing it backwards.
Maybe children should not be learning from adults, but instead we should be learning from them.
